Emily Joy Rosen is an inspirational figure in the wellness industry, reaching thousands of followers every day through online venues. I developed a brand for her, while maintaining areas for growth in different creative areas. The goal of the brand was for her not to feel limited in content creation, while staying consistent and recognizable.
The brand identity was designed to look pretty while keeping a serious mindset, without too many flourishes or decorative elements. The rich and calming blue combined with the sepia tone swatches for contrast creates a memorable look without being limiting.
This project started with a versatile logo design to be used on social media. Her initial presence was only on Facebook before branching out to Instagram, with the intention of creating physical media. As her brand and identity grew, the imagery needed to be flexible enough to accommodate projects in various media formats, from a full website design to assets that could be used for printed designs, such as cards, books and canvases.
The website started out as a place for her to share the things that inspired her, and to share her story and why she wanted to help others.
This grew quickly, so the website design needed to have the capacity to expand to incorporate programs she wanted to teach, as well as act as her personal notebook for poetry and other inspirational writing.
